I just wanted you to know that my husband was thrilled with the painting, and we managed to keep it a secret, even though we were dying to tell him beforehand! He says it was the perfect Xmas present. Don't know how I'm going to top it next year…

I just wanted you to know that we lost Bracken last week. I know you'll be very sorry to hear this because you know how special he was, at least to judge from the painting you did of him. I'm so glad I had him painted when I did as it's a great comfort being able to look at him every day. I can't thank you enough for capturing our boy so well.
